Romanian teenager Madalina Hovarth stole £15,000 worth of goods all over the UK in places such as London, Manchester and many more. Madalina got sentenced to 14 months in prison, but the judge ruled she could be released early to save the tax payer money.
The judge decided to remove 4 months from her sentence in order to save UK tax payers between 6-8 thousand pounds. Due to having already served time on remand Judge Bernard Lever allowed her to return home immediately when she presented him with a one-way ticket back to Romania.
The grand total stolen came to £15,443 from a variety of Apple and Beats products and other clothing items.
